《 人才英语教程》以 对于 人才的需求为指导、以人才核心能力培养为目标，以“产出导向”教学法和“体验式学习”理念为教材设计理念，结合普通本科高校的教学实际而编写，为院校人才培养提供支持，为教师和学生提供优质教学资源。

《 人才英语教程》包含两个级别——初级、中级，难度与“国才考试”各级别相对应。教材各级设定为不同的职场情境，每级包含四个职场任务，共分八个单元，每两个单元完成一个职场任务。教材同时提供教师用书、助教课件等资源，为教师开展教学提供支持。
